What you will be working on 

As a Financial Controller your primary focus will be on managing and optimizing our financial processes. You will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance. Your responsibilities will span financial management, analysis, compliance, risk management, team leadership, and strategic planning.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting; 
  • Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures;
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-making;
  • Provide insights into key financial metrics, trends, and variances;
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements;
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks;
  • Lead and mentor the finance team;
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline financial processes;
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies;
  • Contribute to the development of long-term financial plans;

Who you are

  • Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred;

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in a startup/scaleup environment and or background in Accountancy and Audit;
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience;
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
  • You are empathic, patient, and able to adapt to various situations;
  • You communicate clearly, use positive language, and have a can-do, problem-solving attitude;
